Discovered in a market in Luang Prabang, Laos. I was extremely impressed with this pea variety, its ability to yield is remarkable. It’s also known as ‘Maiden’s Blush’ as in hot sun or very hot temperatures it can show a pink tint, though my peas were grown in partial shade and did not exhibit that trait. Eaten as a shelling pea. A folk variety preserved mostly by backyard gardeners, and promoted by Adam Alexander of the Seed Detective website. Much appreciation to Jan in the UK for sharing this wonderful variety. 20 seeds/packet.
