A wonderful tomato, also known as ‘Tuscan Storage Tomato’. This is an ancient Italian heirloom variety known for its exceptionally long shelf-life and high vitamin C content. Its seeds were saved by generations of Tuscan farmers for winter storage. It’s one of eight local, ancient tomato varieties recognized and conserved within the Regional Genetic Repertory of Tuscany, Italy. These are not as long keeping as ‘Mystery Keeper’, but they did have significant off the vine holding qualities. Excellent tomato with early maturity.
