Grandpa Ott’s Morning Glory Flower Seeds

$4.00

Tall climbing vines that bloom mid-summer with indigo blue trumpet shaped flowers. Flower centres are a beautiful luminous purple. The most hardy selection of morning glory for my area, with the largest number of blooms. Buried seeds can remain dormant for years and spring to life when conditions permit, that condition mostly being a location close enough to the soil surface instead of deeply buried. This morning glory variety is from Bavaria. However, morning glories were beloved by ancient Aztecs and Mayans who used them as hallucinogens (which I don’t recommend doing). One of its ancient names was La’aja Shnash (Seeds of the Virgin) and Mantos de Cielo (Coat of Heaven).
