Garden Huckleberry Seeds
An extremely productive annual fruit. Grows to about 5 feet across and 3 or 4 feet high, the branches are loaded with dark purple firm berries. Harvest window is late September to late October. This fruit will only release it’s flavors when cooked into compotes or preserves. Apparenty the plants can take some light frosts in the fall, and it will actually sweeten the berries further. Each berry is about the size of a a Concord grape, though there will be variation on the branches. Wonderful fruit for the North, tastes similar to blueberries when cooked. 2023 seed.
