The first perennials I ever grew for my perennial gardens from seeds. 18 years later they are still going strong! And in Sudbury we get at times colder than even -40, so these have proved to be very hardy. I have not grown more plants from the seeds, as the crowns have been increasing for years so I’m not 100% sure how much the offspring will resemble the parents, but I’m guessing since these were inexpensive seed started delphiniums to begin with they aren’t likely to be hybrids. Seeds were collected from the various colors in the photos.
