Cucumber Seeds
A species referenced in Numbers 11:5, they’ve been demanded at the table of Tiberius, Charlemagne and Catherine of Aragon. This gift of Columbus has now been selected for every use. A vegetable that is very easy to grow, but always remember to keep them well watered to deter bitterness. They loathe cold nights, so don’t start them too early. The vines will be extremely prosuctive if kept picked, so if you’re not growing white cucumbers make sure you regularly go through your vines thoroughly to check for hidden cukes! Even one overlooked cucmber will slow down production on the vines, and it’s very easy to miss them as they blend so well with the foliage!
