One of my favorite pepper varieties, ‘Nomad’ is a really great selection of sweet pepper for the North. It’s a de‑hybridized, open‑pollinated version of the popular Gypsy sweet pepper and while it looks very different from the blocky bell Gypsy, it reliably yields an incredible amount of delicious peppers. I have never had a year where it failed me. Even in less than ideal conditions it can produce. Peppers transition from yellowish green to red. Wonderful flavor, excellent vigor. Wonderful variety for the North.
