Pygmy is considered by some to be one of the most productive mini dwarfs, though I must admit I found all of them to be pretty phenomenal yielders. The flavor is pretty balanced with this one, and it makes a nice salad cherry. ‘Pygmy’s’ origins are pretty obscure, and I haven’t been able to turn up any information about its history or development.
