Galapagos Wild Tomato Seeds

$4.00

A grape tomato in yellowish gold. I grew them predominantly because Charles Darwin’s great-grandaughter Sara collected the original seeds from the shores of the Galapagos. Which is sorta wild. These tomatoes are the same tomatoes that grow wild on the rocky, near soilless shores of the Galapagos, just a few feet from the ocean shore – even today. I don’t find the taste amazeballs but it’s okay, and the production is great. The plant habit is somewhat branchy and bushy, I always grow it in a pot to isolate it as I suspect it may have promiscuous blossoms. I eat it and think of those huge iguanas diving headfirst into the ocean. They probably eat these.
