I’ve never met a ‘vernissage’ variety that I didn’t like, and this one is no exception. Delicious little purple black fruits with green stripes that don’t squish easily. Firm fruits held their shape well. Has some notable cousins – Pink Vernissage, Green Vernissage, Yellow Vernissage. A great line of tomatoes. The Russian name is ‘Vernisazh Chernyi’. Pretty crack resistant.
