Seed for this tomato variety was donated to the USDA in 1958, though it was not popularly grown until 1997 when Van and Dan McMurray of Wynndel, B.C. offered seeds in the SSE yearbook. A delicious slicer, very old fashioned taste. Ordinary to look at but one of those red classics that surprises you with its flavour. Almost as good as ‘Germaid Red’ in 2022. Wonderful variety.
