A Greek heirloom, introduced to the USA in the 1950’s. Globes are perfectly shaped, and have none of the bumps and lumps of some heirloom tomatoes. Classic tomato flavour to these, not prone to cracking, plants are quite productive. A nice variety. It reminded me a bit of ‘Zeigler’s Fleisch’. Makes a good processing tomato.
