It literally smells like sweetness, which is an odd experience though lovely. The flowers themselves have little to no ornamental value, they&#8217;re small bright yellow pom poms on top of tall thin stems that sway in wind. The leaves are insignificant, and fern like. This is a native plant from Chile and also goes by the name &#8216;Manzanilla de Campo&#8217;. The flowers are medicinal and can be used in tea; I think these flowers are increasingly being used in the scented product industry. The dried heads crumble just like chamomile flower heads.
