UPDATE: After 4 years growing out this lettuce I can attest that it will become perennial through seed dispersal reliably when allowed to go to seed. If will sprout in spring naturally and mature its seed in time, often even in a shorter year. Tiny seedlings appear around May and I simply lift and move them into rows where I'd like them. This is the only lettuce that I can depend on to come back every year in the North without any intervention. 2025 seed.
