These grew to a fair size though I don&#8217;t find them notably earlier than others. Shape of the fruits was very much like &#8216;Black Beauty&#8217;, the standard grocery store eggplant, though not as large as those. I also found that unlike most eggplants these signal seed maturity not by changing colour, but by getting wrinkled and flabby looking.
