Samenzucht und Samenhandlung in Ratingen-Lintorf near D\u00fcsseldorf, dating to 1944. A very popular bean that was once traded nationwide, but in 1972 the seed company was closed and production of this seed ended. What remains appears to be kept alive by the \u201cVerein zur Erhaltung der Nutzpflanzenvielfalt e. V.,\u201d an association dedicated to preserving diversity in agricultural plants. Quite a productive variety, and very early to dry down. A Slow Food Ark variety.
