Thomas Laxton (1830\u20131893) was one of the most important British plant breeders of the Victorian era, known especially for his work on peas and other garden vegetables \u2014 and Lord Leicester sits in that heritage.\u00a0 The vines are 6ft, with a long cropping and great flavor.\u00a0 Historically described as rich, sweet, and buttery, excellent for fresh eating.\u00a0 20
