I had only a small sample of this seed to grow, so I wasn't able to try the green beans, though this certainly appears to be used as a green bean, with wide, flat pods and likely also could be used as a dry bean. So many of the older heritage beans were dual purpose. A lovely piece of Canadian pioneering history, worth keeping alive.
