true \u2018Mamutina\u2019 from Europe.\u00a0 However, it was an astounding little bean for productivity.\u00a0 This is not a cross, all the plants were perfectly uniform and produced the same pods and seed.\u00a0 As I\u2019ve said elsewhere, as a production per square foot gardener I\u2019m not a huge bush bean grower, but if I come across something that really stands out I keep it.\u00a0 This is one of those.\u00a0 I believe it\u2019s for fresh eating, though I\u2019m not 100% certain.\u00a0 It was certainly pretty at the later stages of maturity when I started to really notice it.\u00a0
