True to the comedy of life, of the 75+ poles I installed for the 2025 beans this was the first one to get to the top of its pole!\u00a0 I can only guess whoever named it really knew what they were doing.\u00a0 The pods were two colors, some green, some purple.\u00a0 There is both a purple version of this bean (Ryder\u2019s Blue Coco) and a green one, so I\u2019m not sure if both may have been in my packet – because aside from color the pods were the same.\u00a0 There also may have been a cross.\u00a0 This bean was once offered by the Ryder\u2019s of St. Albans company, a historic British seed seller.\u00a0 It is no longer commonly found, as the seed company & its catalogue has been discontinued.\u00a0 For now I will offer seeds for both colors in Ryder’s Top ‘O’ The Pole, which have different colored seeds.\u00a0 Excellent bean pods, high yields, and early maturity.\u00a0 The total package in this one.\u00a0 Many thanks to Artur Kobylecki for sending this wonderful variety!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
