This is a bean I picked up from a Seedy Saturday event here in Sudbury.\u00a0 The stationary envelope that held a small number of seeds said only \u2018Wendy\u2019s Late Brother – In – Law\u2019 so that is the name I\u2019ve decided to go with for it.\u00a0 You never know what to expect with these unknown kinds of acquisitions but this turned out to be a real standout in the 100+ varieties I grew in 2025.\u00a0 Very early, enormous yields, deliciously tender pencil type pods.\u00a0 Really wonderful cooking bean.\u00a0 Oddly, though the bean plants were all perfectly uniform the seeds were of 2 kinds, white and greyish blue brown.\u00a0 Very unusual specimen indeed.\u00a0 One of those great finds!\u00a0 If any of my Sudbury people, especially the Horticultural Society,\u00a0 have more information please contact me!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
