largest Italian beans I\u2019ve grown.\u00a0 The bean is named after \u201cGrandma Gina Lami,\u201d a woman from Palagano, Italy who brought the bean seeds with her when she emigrated to the United States in the early 1900s with her husband Rugero Lami.\u00a0 Gina and Rugero settled in Pennsylvania, growing these beans year after year.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0After Grandma Gina passed, her granddaughters found her preserved bean seeds in the kitchen and continued to grow and save them, passing the seeds on within the family for decades.\u00a0 Delicious giant pods, with a sweet history.\u00a0 Such great luck that the family decided to keep the bean going and share it with other gardeners!\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:
