flat green pods speckled in purple quite early and are very prolific.\u00a0 The vines are dripping with them.\u00a0 These also go by the name \u2018Butterbrodt\u2019, or \u2018Schwertbohne\u2019 which means \u2018sword bean\u2019 &#8211; a reference to the long, flat, big pods.\u00a0 Excellent fresh snap bean, that is originally from the former Soviet Union.\u00a0 Many thanks to Beany Things in
