Another rare longkeeper, one of the lesser known ones for sure.\u00a0 Madagascar is a diminutive longkeeper variety, about the size of a small plum or apricot.\u00a0 These can be picked quite green and will ripen to a dark pink with yellow highlights.\u00a0 The taste is quite good considering I picked them green!\u00a0 It may be possible to pick these at a more mature stage as well.\u00a0 But I decided to pick them immature and see the results.\u00a0 The 1st photo was taken in mid January 2025, after being picked in early Sept. 2024.\u00a0 The 2nd photo in late September 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
