A rare longkeeper tomato from Russia, the name translates to mean. ‘Giraffe’.\u00a0 \u00a0These are very long keeping, and can be stored for a shocking amount of time, at least 6 months or more.\u00a0 The fruits are perfectly round, a yellowy pink color and about the size of a McIntosh apple.\u00a0 These do need to be stored with a bit of space around each fruit, so air can circulate; they get pink where the air can reach.\u00a0 The taste – like most longkeepers – is not sweet, but on the acidic side and still tasting of garden flavor months after being picked.\u00a0 A real gem.\u00a0 \u00a0(Photos were taken 1st week of February 2025, and were picked 1st week of Sept 2024.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
